Great on French Vanilla ice cream!

  • 5 to 6 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2/3 Cup milk or 3/4 Cup Evap. milk
  • salt, (few grains)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix cocoa, sugar, salt, and milk in a medium saucepan. Add butter. Cook over a medium-high heat, stopping before soft-ball stage. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve hot or cold over ice cream.

Admittedly, you may discover a few similarities between this recipe and the one for which my mom became famous...

Okay, perhaps the entire recipe is similar...

Alright, yes, they are identical - but mine is still better. Why? Because mine is posted it on a website and hers isn't.
