As I awoke, somewhat bleary-eyed and later than expected, I realized that last night was a success! We have finally perfected the O'Mallerita and I am thrilled to post it. Here goes...

• 1-1/2 cups silver tequila
• 1-1/2 cups Cointreau (kind of pricey, but tastes great)
• 1-1/2 cups lime juice freshly squeezed from limes - NOT bottled "lime juice"
• 3 cups water

Pour ingredients into a pitcher.

Press a lime on the lip of a glass, and slide it all the way around to coat the lip in lime juice. Next, salt the lip of the glass with coarse salt, a.k.a., Margarita salt.

Fill glass ALL the way to the top with ice cubes, mix pitcher well, and fill the glass to just below the salt.

Have a taste and smile - you are experiencing the best Margarita ever - the O'Mallerita!
